Minecraft Earth Release & Beta
Minecraft Earth will be available for iOS and Android. The release date has not been announced, but the beta will begin this summer. The current plan is to roll out beta to hundreds of thousands of players during the summer. You also must be 18 or older to participate which seems odd for a game that was built of players of all ages, but suggest there may be an NDA that you might have to sign to allow access to the beta version.
How much will Minecraft Earth Cost?
If you read more here, you will know that minecraft Earth will be free to play on any of the servers from the Minecraft Server List. Though you can expect that they will sell skins for your avatar like they do in their other versions. They frequently come out with different avatar skin packs with tie-ins to other IPs, like Star Wars, and Marvel.
What can you do in Minecraft Earth?
There is not a lot known yet about what you can actually do in Minecraft Earth. Their site says you can build your own creations, gather resources and share your builds. It also says you can go on mini missions with other people and team with other crafters to create together.
The wording seems to suggest that you won’t just be able to build everywhere and it show up to everyone else. This might be a good thing if you’ve ever played on a server that was not modded, to log in and find your builds destroyed or giant replication of human anatomy towering over your house. Just the amount of data alone that would go into sharing all the block data and changes to every player at the same time would be a huge feat.
What is Minecraft?
For those that have been offline for the past 10 years and don’t know what Minecraft is. Minecraft is a game where you gather different blocks and then place them anywhere to create just about anything. From buildings and roads to art and even computers inside Minecraft. As you gather resources, you actually take them from the landscape around you so you actually change the landscape of the world around you. For gamers who are obsessed with first-person shooter games like pubg etc, (pubg new state hacks can be got here), Minecraft can seem to be quiet simplified and easy.
