If you take a look at the intel map around KOLAN, you can find these portals listed, 1-17. Starting with “your path begins here” – https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=12.91254,100.76909&z=17&pll=12.91254,100.76909

Then continues up the mountainside to portal “Path to the Osiris stone #17” – https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=12.91957,100.77682&z=17&pll=12.91957,100.77682

In total, there appear to be 18 portals, You begin here and then 1-17. Perfect for a banner mission.

Currently, they appear to all have the same photo listed below, but we could probably assume they will be updated. Either with clues or standings. Possibly the winner of each leg? Or they could even change the banner to highlight the winner. It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming week.

Update #1: Agent Gnagsuaton posted on the Ingress Sub-Reddit with some portals he spotted off the coast of Ko Lan, “X marks the spot”, versions 1-3 for each faction. Looks like there will be some diving in the future for some agents.

UPDATE #2: Rio5, AKA Ruth Shepherd is on the ground in Ko Lan as the intel image below shows that she has captured multiple portals.

So it appears things are getting underway!

UPDATE #3: Niantic has removed the portals from intel. Could be sandboxed, could come back later. Guess we will have to wait and see.
