Two vanguards resigned this past week, First mm207a and then directly on mm207a’s heels, pinesinger – both attribute the resignation to losing the magic of Ingress mostly due to a declining player base.

NianticBrian comments on the ghost resonators: “The latest update rolling out now (2.39) should help reduce the number of ghost resonators from occurring, but the issue can still occur with a lot of contention, like at First Saturday events. We’ll continue to investigate further, thanks.”

From Agent dayosteph – It is still possible to book for Ingress at Sea – we’re in the process of applying for a Mission Day and have asked Niantic to consider offering the same sojourner maintenance as last time, but have not heard back yet. If the webpage is down because we’re past the Jan 30th deadline, you can book via phone by calling our agent, Chappy, at Cruises Only (number is on the website) – Tip of the week: as for a quick tip – checking your phone carrier for int’l plans is a great way to make sure you’ll have internet in port otherwise sim cards can usually be purchased locally as soon as you get off the ship
